Every batch goes through three independent verification steps before release: (1) HPLC purity analysis — minimum 98%, hard reject below; (2) mass spectrometry — molecular weight and structural identity confirmation; (3) LAL endotoxin assay and microbial panel. All three must pass. Any batch that fails any step is rejected and absorbed internally. The resulting COA is published publicly by batch number. If a supplier can't show you all three of these in independent, traceable form — you don't know what's in the vial.

98.0% minimum HPLC purity on every batch — no exceptions. Batches below this threshold are rejected and never reach the catalog. Our published batch averages typically run 99.0–99.4%. If a batch comes in between 98.0–98.9%, it ships but is marked accordingly in the public COA. We do not adjust this threshold based on supply pressure.

Endotoxins are bacterial cell wall fragments (lipopolysaccharides) that can contaminate peptide compounds during synthesis and remain even after HPLC purity is confirmed — because HPLC measures the compound itself, not bioburden. The LAL (Limulus Amebocyte Lysate) assay detects endotoxin contamination at the nanogram level. We set a hard threshold of <5 EU/mg. This is the standard used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Most research peptide suppliers do not run this test at all. We consider it non-negotiable.

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at −20°C or lower, protected from light and moisture. Reconstituted peptides in solution should be stored at −80°C for long-term storage or 2–8°C for short-term (up to 2 weeks). Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Each product COA includes specific storage recommendations. When in doubt, keep it cold and light-protected.
