What is Selank?
Selank is a synthetic analogue of the immunomodulatory peptide Tuftsin, developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is a heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) that has been examined for anxiolytic-pathway signaling in models where sedation endpoints were not observed — a mechanism distinct from traditional anxiolytic compound classes.
